Full Touch Screen
The Nokia X6 features an impressive 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen capable of displaying up to 16M colours. The X6 also supports auto screen rotation thanks to a built in accelerometer, handwriting recognition and a proximity sensor which automatically puts the screen on standby when you are on a call.
Symbian Operating System
The X6 runs on the Symbian operating sytem letting you customise your phone to suit your needs. Download and install applications from the Nokia Ovi store, create shortcuts and new folders and keep all your favourite contacts one touch away by adding them to the scrolling contacts bar on the home screen.
Music Player
With a built in music and movie player, 32GB of internal memory and a 3.5 mm audio jack, the X6 is a powerful portable multimedia player. Store thousands of tracks, hours of video and use the supplied headphones or your own thanks to the 3.5 mm audio jack.
Web Browser
With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your mobile phone. Check the latest scores, look up train times and check for delays, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are.
HSDPA
HSDPA on the Nokia X6 means that you can enjoy speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, similar to your home broadband. This means that web browsing and downloads are handled at lightening quick speeds. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband.
Wi-Fi
With Wi-Fi you can use your phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.
5.0 Megapixel Camera
With a built in 5.0 megapixel camera, auto focus and a Carl Zeiss lens, the Nokia X6 takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog. Other premium features include a powerful flash and video recording at 30 frames per second.
GPS
With GPS you can use the phone to locate your position, plan your journey, check for problems, and as a general Sat Nav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software.
A-GPS
A-GPS is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them. When combined with a GPS enabled phone, the addition of A-GPS enables a faster GPS satellite lock.
Email Client
The X6 on O2 has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.
Bluetooth 2.0
Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible stereo wireless headset. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
Stereo FM Radio
With a Stereo FM Radio built in to the O2 Nokia X6, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone.
