Nokia is working on a new serie. At least, that is what we think after hearing that Nokia has registered the names Xserie and Cserie as trademarks. These will supposedly be added to the existing N- and Eserie.
According to the registration the Xserie is related to "mobile phones, smartphones and replacements parts for mobile phones". According to rumours the Cserie is meant for the multimedia computers. Nokia is using the names Eserie for its business Enterprise devices, like the E71 and the Nserie for its entertainment devices like the N97.
Nokia Xserie and Cserie?
Both the names were registered on April 29th 2009 at the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), an European organisation for the registration of trademarks. We will probably hear which products Nokia has in mind for these series during the yearly Nokia World 2009.
